I DARE YOUth internship builds the leadership skills, critical thinking and problem solving, and explores the importance of civic participation of youth in San Francisco.

Under the lead of SOMCAN’s “Our Health/Kalusugan, Our Community/Bayan” program, a community health assessment report was created to look at how chronic diseases affect the lives of Filipinos in San Francisco.

The sentiment behind this project was to expose everyone, enrich the youth, engage families, and empower the community.
